During the 52nd Anvil Awards hosted by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PSRP) last February 10, M2.0 Communications and our partners, MSD and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), were honored with two Gold Anvils, one of the most coveted awards in the public relations industry.
For this year’s ceremony, M2.0 sent its two of its best PR projects as entry to the prestigious award giving body. Both were found worthy of a Gold Anvil, one of PSRP’s highest accolades. The awards were granted for the category of PR Campaigns Directed at External Audiences and Stakeholders and PR tools.
The first to be honored was the conference, NXCITIES PHILIPPINES. In partnership with BCDA, we gathered the world’s best minds on building green, inclusive cities in one conference to inspire the nation to support sustainable cities of the future that it sorely needs.
The other was won together with global healthcare provider, MSD. We raised awareness of the presence of immunotherapy in the Philippines. It’s a breakthrough cancer treatment that, unlike chemotherapy, doesn’t leave side-effects such as baldness, nausea, and diarrhea. By the end of the six month campaign, the campaign gave dozens of qualified cancer patients new hope.
The Anvil Award is given to outstanding PR programs, tools, and practitioners by our peers. Winning an anvil is no easy feat. Winners undergo a rigorous selection process by 30 distinguished jurors who compare and debate hundreds of similarly worthy nominations.
With the addition of these two awards, M2.0 will have been honored with a total of four Gold Anvils, having won recently for DTI’s SlingshotMNL conference, the official tech startup event of APEC 2016.
M2.0 is proud and grateful to our peers in PSRP who have found our efforts admirable. We are also thankful to our partners who gave us the opportunity to work with them to help improve our cities and save people’s lives.
