1. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
Las Casas Filipinas is a heritage site in Bagac that features houses and structures from different periods in Philippine history. These dwellings were carefully dismantled from their original locations in the country and then carefully reassembled in the 400-hectare resort. Photographs in Las Casas look and feel as if they’re from another time. The resort offers a day tour but you can also stay overnight and shoot the glorious buildings draped in soft lamplights.
2. The Ruins
Regarded as the Taj Mahal of Negros, the Ruins is the remains of the two-story mansion of Negrense sugar baron, Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson. Found in Talisay, Negros Occidental, it was built in the 1920s for his first wife, Maria Braga, but was purposely burned down to a skeletal frame during World War II to prevent the invading Japanese from using it as a base. Today, it serves as a tourist attraction and a famous destination for pictorials and special occasions.
3. Caramoan Islands, Camarines Sur
Everything about the Caramoan Islands is flat-out beautiful.
